SOTD
Heard a cutie pie old man singing this for Karaoke last night, brought a tear to my eye.
James Taylor - Fire and Rain
Isn't this in a Stella skit or something?

The End of Summer Camp (and I didn't get to kiss a girl)
This is the theme for what most of the campus looks like. Palm trees and fake spanish shit and shit.
Finger trees are all over down hur.
Southerners are dumb, way dumb. These are stairs that go up into the bottom of a sidewalk. Dumb.
This is my (fuck) Gnarkill cup. I drank more than 100 cups of coffee out of this. It's true. I did the math.
WDYDT
I woke up at 8:30 this morning. Went to highland coffee and had 3 shots of espresso with a cranberry muffin. My fridge broke a couple days ago so that means no mas milk nor eggs.
I worked on my final paper for my research this summer. Thought about stuff like this:
I ate Chicken and hummus and salad from a lebanese place under a tree that kind of looked like this:
I finished my paper, got paid around 3 grand for it and the culmination of 8 weeks of research.
I went climbing at the gym and I ate pizza.
I began packing up for moving out of Louisiana and onto the city of loving bros for a half a fortnight.
Noteable music: Rice and Bread and Animal Collective live at the Che Cafe (2003).

WDYDT
woke up at 7:45
ate a turkey/cream cheese sandwich and loaded up the bimmerdog and headed to Seattle.
Noticeable track listened to en route "postcard of a painting" by Maximo Park
Arrived at Manik Skateboards and folded shirts for 3 hours
Took photos of product and got a sick sweatshirt and hat, conclude work at 4:30
Wandered North Seattle to avoid traffic at rush hour.
Ate the best Spicy chicken sandwich and enjoyed a few beers at the coolest BBQ place I have been to called RoRo's. I met a few dudes there that said funny things and one was named Lemmy.
Met a Chihuahua
Skated at Gasworks park on the water at Lake Union during dusk, saw about 120 middle school band geeks playing tribute songs to Michael Jackson which was epic.
Caught the I-5 North to BHAM, arrived at 9:30... Now I dunno what to do... :( :(
This picture was hanging in the bathroom of RoRos. Classic.

WDYDT? (What Did You Do Today?)
Woke up at 6:45 and ate 2 eggs on toast.
Drove in a truck for an hour listening to This Bike Is a Pipe Bomb; Front seat solidarity.
Hiked six miles into the Sky Lakes Wilderness with a tall dude and a short black guy from Mississippi who had never seen a mountain till last week and calls pine cones acorns.
Got to cliff lake, ate lunch then had a BC cliff session off of a fifteen footer (misty 5, 7, backie).
Cut three small trees on the trail with the two man cross cut then ran out of time and hiked back.
Listened to NOFX; Heavy Petting Zoo on the drive back.
Made $130 so its kinda like I'm a sellout BC cliff jumper but its still cool.
Not as cool as this though.......

Manik x L4DO Collaboration
Just updated the manik skateboards webstore...
You in the mood for a sick Steve Martin T-shirt? we got dat.
We should make a L4DO design that is really good and get some shirts printed here, I could probably get some super cheap prices..
Also, Here is an almost finished personal take on the work of Mike Giant, done in sharpie and some smaller pens (i cheated)... Check that sick chest tat though. Dismiss the shitty cell phone photo of it.

Alpine Initiative
JP Auclair and friends started up a sweet non-profit. They are currently working in Kenya building a new orphanage and develop it into a self-sustainable community home, with a garden/farm/permaculture and all that cool shit.
